Horse Statue

One of the most exciting projects we have engaged in started three years ago. We agreed to assist a client who fell in love with one of France’s oldest country homes which was constructed in the mid-16th century. The project was to reconstruct the two sea-horse statues that sat on either side of the walkway leading to a massive pond, fountain and water feature. These sea horses had been carved from white marble nearly 140 years ago. We developed clay models and cast the reproductions in bronze at the exact size to fit the project here in Toronto. After several trips to China and France, we delivered these timeless pieces to the owners in 2008.
